I’m skipping the ridiculous offers to test my IQ. Some people have never matured, or are so sexually frustrated that they’re unable to analyze anything if not delivering a dick comparison that favors them. And in case it’s not clear, the wealth hoarders should be attacked mercilessly, not treated as VIPs.
That sums it up. But you might have noticed that there’s recent talk about a lot of “cockroaches in the market”, whether it’s the Apollo CEO, as reported by CNN (in a case that apparently involves teacher’s Unions, but if you look at the news, you’ll only see nice things about Pearson) or in the case of Jamie Dimon (it’s a complete joke that this was reported live, by the way — and by “joke” I mean British humor, humiliation and taboo). But notice that nobody’s talking about how remote work is scaling up in a disproportionate manner, completely irregulated, without care, and swiping out both the money and the clients. Some people have voiced concerns, formally or informally. But are we talking about the scale of micromanagement?
The Forbes article I linked to mentions a few good aspects of accountability versus micromanagement. But what about the specifics of micromanagement? A recent largely reported story, for example, points out that Burger King installed AI to monitor whether or not cashiers were being nice to clients, by searching for the keywords “please” and “thank you”. Can you stop for a second and think about the one person who had the brilliant idea of implementing this system, while you sat frustrated in bed, doomscrolling, and feeling completely defeated with the demise of democracy?
If you pay any attention at all to what this blog offers, however, you’ll see that there are bigger concerns here. You’ll know that the nature of conversations has been analyzed, and you’re aware of recent data coming out of tech companies, not just the stuff that Mark Zuckerberg had to testify on, with a few stories focused on money and other stories focused on morality. The more you know: even Brazilian media is reporting what happened a few days later, where the man went to a fashion show.
The whole point, which I honestly can’t name one single person who got right, is that we want to be able to trust who we talk to, and we want to be able to have relationships on the web (yes, very early on!) and some of our “role models” are not clear and it must be somebody’s job to name the names. So maybe take a look at what Camming Life has to say (you too, Gavin Newsom)! So much for accountability, right? And I’m trying to make the point that the people who tend to hold elected officials accountable (lol, you know, when that happens, it’s gonna be interesting) use terms such as “volatility” to talk about no other thing than the cultural issue of promiscuity among teenagers, that is not even passsed onto real life by the way, and is a complete moral panic; and terms like “cockroaches” for “deeper, underlying issues”, but the cockroaches are definitely not gonna be found in the buildings of Bloomberg Television, a solid institution, harder than… what’s the Superman thing again? Not cock, I assume? I mean, are we talking to kids? Imagine if Superman was gay, Jesus Christ, they would fuck shit up. Maybe up and down, who the fuck knows at this point? Front and center used to be a thing, but I’m getting old.
It’s one thing to go deeper into the issues that some people, who chose to embrace a certain life (and you can use it as a metaphor), have to say about the culture of a certain industry — as reporter Kim Kelly has corageously fought for bringing visibility to — and it’s another to think about the business mindset you need to have to be successful, and here we need to think about what the idea of hard work is for some people in certain Brazilian schools.
It seems that, every time someone says the word “stalker”, it’s a way of flirting? Wild. I have to inform some of you that stalking is a crime punishable by law, since motherfucking 1940 in Brazil. But oh no, that doesn’t apply to micromanaging! And beware: Trump is against AI regulation. Can you connect the dots yet? Micromanaging, if not applied, wouldn’t signal volatility, nor a cockroach market: people would just be beating their meat — I think a lot of people like meat, right? Please don’t tell me you’re a vegan. Because at worst, we got carrots!
So to make things clearer, here’s Elon Musk’s idea of working hard, just so you can have a laugh: paying rent. Compare with the story narrated in the song “Austerity“, by yours truly. And next time you wanna call me lazy, look straight into my eyes and admit the obvious: you’ll never see what I see (as I’ve hinted in the song “Queen of Hearts“).
For all the younglins, you don’t have to understand, if you’re able to do the Egyptian scale on TikTok. If you can’t, shut the fuck up. And learn English, otherwise you’ll never be on the same level, even in your wildest dreams.
